Racing Wheel in GTA Online

Gta unterstützt keine Lenkräder aber es gibt Tutorials wie man es trotzdem hinbekommt. Dazu muss man im Unterverzeichnis Dateien für die Gamepads austauschen.

Kann man damit online gehen oder erkennt das Spiel dies als Modding und somit cheating?
Hauptsächlich suchen wir lustige Rennspiele die wir zu dritt mitm Lenkrad spielen können und dafür eignet sich GTA super.
Mit Lenkrad ist man eh nicht online konkurenzfähig weswegen das eh nur in private sessions sein wird (wird aber keinen Unterschied zum Thema machen).

Hat da jemand Erfahrung mit?

Die Methode hier simuliert nur einen XBox Controller, quasi nichts anderes was man auch macht wenn man mit nem Rumblepad oder nem noname Chinapad der ohne das garnicht erkannt wird zockt. Das passiert alles ausserhalb des Spiels. Klingt nicht banverdächtig für mich.

While the G920 gaming wheel is actually low in price we bought it 4 times with friends. Sadly i have to see it doesnt work in GTA 5 at all.


There is a well spreaded solution for this in many tutorials using the programm x360ce wich emulates any inputdevice into a xbox controller.

To use this you have to insert 2 files into the GTA folder. 1 gamepad.ini and 1 xinput1_3.dll


Our motivation for my mates to buy GTA is mostly to use our wheels ingame in multiplayer and i know it wouldt be a perfect experience better than nearly all of the other games on the market.


But i know with my semi PC skills that inserting a .dll file into gta couldt be very risky to get banned.


My question is: Can i use this? Is there any data about it? Do you seperate beween cheats and functional fixes without gameplayadvantage?


I have seen on youtube hard cheaters/exploiters and they got banned only for a time period as a warning. Will using this ending in a period ban only? I never cheat, my steam account is 100% banfree.

Its not only a third party programm, there must be 2 files copyd in the GTA folder. The answer its allowed to use teamspeak while playing is not really hitting the topic.

The common sense of what the are rules for is to prevent cheating or ruin the game or experience for players. Thats absolute not the case with a fix to make a Logitech Wheel think it is a X-Box pad.

While you differentiate from good and bad third party tools, can you differentiate from cheating files and just modified gamepadlayouts too?

No clue about the technics there but i think cheating files are unlikely named like "xinput.dll" or "gamepad.ini" which are obviosly for controllersupport in every games.

Hab ja nicht viel erwartet vom Support ausser auf die AGB und sonstige R* Quellen zu verweisen.
Wollen doch nur zum Spass im 4 Spieler Lenkrad fahren aber ne .dll in den GTA reinkopieren scheint mir gefährlich.
